Day 64- we stayed another day at @quarterwayinn because big tuna woke up feeling worse from his cold. we thought one good day of rest would hopefully do the trick. plus, quarter way was so cozy and clean that we didn’t really want to leave too soon anyways. it was a very relaxing day and got big tuna feeling better!

Day 65- we had a great beginning and end to our day. we started with a fantastic home cooked meal by tina at @quarterwayinn that left us feeling good and ready for a full day of hiking. we ended up at a campsite that had these huge stumps we could use as tables (a luxury at campsites). then a trail maintainer came up and offered us some ice cold beer to enjoy with our delicious dinner by @backpackerbistro!

Intricately woven rugs tell a much larger story about morocco's vibrant culture. these artisanal crafts showcase unique designs that represent different tribes, spanning from the atlas mountains to the southern coasts. #wildernesstravel

I’m going to keep hitting the snooze button and dream about this place a little longer 😴

Day 63- we started in the morning hiking through fields under beautiful blue skies, then we heard a little thunder. then we heard more thunder from the other direction. as we hiked dark clouds were emerging from all around and coming right for us. luckily, since we put our rain gear on, it never actually rained! we decided to stop earlier than planned because big tuna got a cold. he managed to push out 14 miles, getting us past the quarter way mark, but that was really tough, so we sought sanctuary at @quarterwayinn it was the perfect place for it. we relaxed on comfy couches, and watched movies with other hikers. we also soaked our feet on the front porch while deer and cows grazed in the field across the street. it felt like a home :)
