a few ways to help you to not be so hungry while losing weight by @mazerfitness 👇

something that lots and lots of people underestimate is the importance of food choices when it comes to hunger. yes, calories are king and macros come second. but if those calories and macros come from foods with little to no nutritional value, you're not going to control your hunger.

these 9 foods will definitely help you control your hunger. black coffee and espresso because caffeine has an appetite suppressing working. broccoli and oatmeal because they're high in fibre. protein powder, greek yogurt and tuna because they're high in protein and these will definitely fill you up!

lastly, halo top. this will be an awesome alternative to ice cream if you're really craving it. do i advise you to eat a pint of halo top a day? that's probably not a smart idea. one or two a week? that's completely cool!

it is sometimes the smallest switch we make day by day that will slowly shed the f*t you can’t wait to come off!🙏🏻

if you add even one of these habits in now you will find yourself eating less and striving towards that glorious caloric deficit goal!👌🏼

we do not have to k**l our selves day in and day out in the gym to start off on our transformation journey! 3-4 days a week with more focus on outside the gym habit fixes will pay off way more than 7 days a week of training and poor lifestyle habits.

a lot of the time we aren’t hungry but dehydrated (drink more water) sometimes we have cravings that won’t go away(swap the candy bar for a quest bar), sometimes our body wants more and signals the brain to eat (choose a quality protein instead of a high carb, or eat a salad) when we start on a new calorie deficit we can feel lethargic(drink a glorious black coffee) sometimes we don’t what to eat and how much and when(hire me as your coach😌) .
simple: 1 starch, 1 quality protein, 1-2 greens, maybe room for desert(fruit bowl full of berries.)

we don’t need to speed up our metabolism to lower our body fat% we need to consume less calories daily or weekly!👏🏻💪🏼

@mamabear.getsfit : i know what it's like to yo-yo diet, starve yourself, binge, & even purge. i've done every fad diet you can name. i've taken hcg, phentermine, & every other diet pill i could get my hands on. i've tried to wrap myself "skinny".... •
after my last son i couldn't believe how i had let my weight get out of control. i was so depressed...it affected every aspect of my life including my marriage. it breaks my heart that many women go through this same exact thing 😣

i couldn't do any crazy starvation diets or take diet pills because i was breastfeeding (thank god) so i had to do it the right way... through exercise and good nutrition. quick fixes never last long term anyways... •
i'm still on my journey and i may not be a size 2 or even 4 but that's no longer my goal! something i haved gained while on the journey is confidence! feeling good and in shorts or a bathing suit is worth the effort of making healthy choices and taking care of yourself! i promise!

has is been easy? no. has it been worth it?! heck yes! 🙌 •

It's honestly really hard for me to post this. after graduating college life hit me real hard and i let myself go and got to my highest weight ever. i actually looked at the scale and cried. it was at that moment i knew i had to change my habits. i began eating better and portion control and just trying to be more active. then in june i started doing the keto diet and doing the fit with mari fitness program by @marillewellyn . i forgot how much i love weight lifting, plus i finally found an eating habit i can continuously follow. this is only the beginning though, i want to keep going. i have finish guide 1 of the program i'm doing and i'm on to guide two. i am also going to start the cyclical keto diet soon so i can focus on getting lean. cant wait to continue this journey.

-312lbs 👇 in 2 years naturally with diet and exercise. no meal plan, surgery, personal trainer, pills, or anything like that but hard work daily, eating healthy 80% of the time, working out in the gym 5-6x a week, and living a balanced healthy lifestyle! when i set a new years resolution to lose weight i had no idea it would lead me to such a new life. i thought the goal was to get to a number on the scale but it wasnt a number but to be healthy and happy. it wasnt a number but to be able to do all the things that my weight held me back from. for once in my life i dont feel as if i'm just existing in my life as a prisoner in my own body. it's not about the weight you lose but the life that you gain!

Good morning peeps 🌞😁 i thought i would start this week with realness... a little more than a year ago, i was at my lowest weight. weigh in at 168lbs, since then i've had many distractions and truly haven't been as focused as i should be.

i was eating crap, and reverting back to old bad habits like eating late a night. and even though i've been aware, that i'm gaining weight again, i kept pretending i wasn't. well here we are on monday august 20, 2018 and i'm being honest with exactly where i'm at because you can't make changes until your real with yourself about where you're at! 190lbs. .
i wanted to be honest with you guys because not every workout is easy. not every week is a successful week, but you have to keep going. our health is worth it, and if we've done it once we will do it again. .

I like to start off my week with a little #mondaymotivation - and this week, i'm contemplating this quote: "make sure your worst enemy doesn't live between your two ears." one thing i have long struggled with is a severely critical inner voice. you know the one. she tells you how horrible you look. how inferior you are. that you shouldn't feel confident. or beautiful. or one of a million other hateful, hurtful things.

this weekend, i went to my friend's bachelorette party. i'd bought my outfit weeks ago - a crop top and high-waisted cropped pants. when i was in the dressing room, i was so in awe of my body and thrilled i was in a place that i felt confident enough to wear that outfit.

when the day came and i looked in the mirror, all i saw was my hip dips and my soft stomach and flabby arms. every imperfection was magnified. and my inner voice hurled every insult and paranoid thought at me.

in all honesty, had i packed another outfit, i probably would have considered changing. but i didn't leave myself the option, so i went as-is, feeling terribly self-conscious.

looking back, just two days later, i don't see any of the things i saw previously. it makes me sad, knowing i was feeling so down on myself that day. why was i allowing my own skewed view of my body affect me in such negative ways?

i find it interesting that we often focus on being kind to others, but rarely do we ever extend that kindness to ourselves.

so, this week, my intention is to work on more positive self-talk. i'm going to focus on being kinder in how i describe myself and how i speak to myself.
