Visualize 👌🏼 arnold once said "good bodybuilders have the same mindset when it comes to sculpting as a sculptor has. lf you analyze it, you look in the mirror and you say 'l need more deltoids, more shoulders' to get the proportions right. so what you do is you exercise... and put those deltoids on.” what he was talking about is visualization.

everybody knows the importance of nutrition, training and supplementation in reaching your health and fitness goals, but there is one element that is often overlooked, often forgotten, often underestimated. and that is visualization.

so ask yourself... what does your ideal physique look like?

fellas - is it a muscular physique? or an aesthetic physique? is it big arms? it is broad shoulders and a small waist? is it a thick back and a full chest?

ladies - is it a lean and toned physique? with a tight midsection and a big booty? is it popping shoulders with long toned legs? a defined back with a small waist?

just like you set goals in all aspects of your health & fitness journey you need to know what your ideal physique looks like in order to visualize what you are trying to create. having subconscious goals will also help you work that little bit harder. you'll get that extra rep, chase that last forced negative, and push through that triple drop set.

the body achieves what the mind believes so next time you’re planning your next training block, plotting out the next phase of your diet, or checking your progress, take a few minutes to visualize. find photos of athletes whose physiques inspire you and analyse your own physique to figure out where you want to take it. it could be the most valuable few minutes you spend planning your health & fitness journey.

and if you can take the same principles of visualization and apply them to all other aspects of your life… well now that can be literally life changing 👊🏼
