happy monday, fam! i’m so behind at posting my squat stuff (i know you’re upset,) and i need to get amrap day up! days 18 through 21 were spent basement squatting, amrap-ing uncomfortably, and reeeeesting. a week from today is max day! holy moly!

so friday went pretty well. i wanted to get 3 reps at 90%, which i did, so i’m happy about that. i did go out the night before, and felt pretty good, but i might’ve done better had i not been so....tired. 💃🏻🥃✨ so far things are going well, i’m so stoked i did this, and so proud of myself for sticking with it! #mondaymotivation .

jeron shows you how to improve mobility as well as increasing the strength of your hips with this post.
▪️band resistance hip circles
🔻attach a light resistance band to a solid base and step into it with one leg. ensure the band slides up to your groin area. then take a knee with the opposite leg. create tension in the band and begin a small circular motion. aim for 15 clockwise and 15 anti-clockwise on each side.
▪️band resistance glute bridge
🔻secure a medium or heavy resistance band to a solid base and slide underneath. from there, make sure the band is in line with your hips. drive your heels into the ground and t****t your hips to the ceiling. contract your core and squeeze the glutes at the top of the movement for maximum benefit.

some chest day again! i’ve been really going after chest and leg days these past few months. physically and mentally getting stronger every time i work out.
