This disturbing audio captured from a 911 call during the attacks of september 11th, 2001 depicts the voice and picture of kevin cosgrove: a businessman who was trapped on the 105th floor of the south tower of the world trade center. .
.
.
kevin michael cosgrove, a vice-president of claims for the aon corporation and a native of new york city, was trapped on the 105th floor of the south tower when the hijacked united airlines flight 175 impacted between floors 77 and 85 of the skyscraper at 9:03 am. cosgrove managed to later make his way into the office of jonathan ostrau (misspelled by cosgrove as "ostaru") with two other men, and then he called 911 with ostrau's office phone. ostrau himself was luckily not in the world trade center at the time since a fire at his neighbor's home the previous day frightened his children, so he decided to personally drive them to school on the morning of september 11th and to go to work later that day. as the south tower burned, cosgrove spoke with his 911 dispatcher but he grew frustrated from the rising levels of smoke coming from the lower floors, as it caused much more difficulty for him to breathe and see. although firemen of the new york fire department made every effort to reach the 105th floor to rescue cosgrove and other upper-floor survivors, they encountered difficulties in climbing the building and later in trying to pass through the impact zone.
.
.
.
tragically, kevin cosgrove was unable to be rescued and the call abruptly ends with his near-immediate death at 9:59 am during the collapse of the south tower of the world trade center. he was 46 years old and he left behind his wife wendy and their three young children: brian, claire and elizabeth. his remains were found and they were buried in huntington, new york on september 22nd, 2001. on the national 9/11 memorial at the new world trade center, kevin cosgrove's name is memorialized with other 9/11 victims on panel s-60 of the south pool. .
.
.
in total, only four individuals ever managed to escape from any floor above the south tower's impact zone on september 11th, 2001. no one is known to have escaped from any floor above the impact zone of the north tower.

Life below life
-
[piece 12/12]
-
all through out history there are countless crimes from one being to another. whether it’s from racism, sexism, terrorism, genocide, human trafficking or the increasing rise of personality disorders such as narcissism that make a being incapable of empathy. from a human being to an animal, the sense of superiority is prevalent. yet there’s not much difference towards each other too. the sense of empathy is so minimal it’s almost sociopathic.
-
summary:
would see images and articles around of life going, extinct, endangered or abused. subconsciously i took note of all this and it came to me as an idea that all these lives were not seen as an actual indiviual, instead as a fragment of existence at our disposal. that there is no empathy from one life to another. that there is this concept that life is not equal to another life. that there is a form of life below another form of life.
-
the streams of colour/black reveal that the lives are not seen as a whole. and the unnatural geometric shape shows that the life has been viewed as just another line, “piece in the scheme” and statistic far from its natural form and purpose.

What happened to elijah is disgusting and heartbreaking. young black teens are being murdered for wearing hoodies, playing with toys, and listening to rap music. i'm so sick and tired of people excusing hate crimes as mental health issues. this is pure racism and bigotry. this is white supremacy and terrorism. that innocent boy was murdered because he was black. my heart breaks for elijah and his family. he did not deserve this. elijah deserves justice.
