on dit souvent que la foi peut déplacer des montagnes, et c’est vrai, au sens figuré du terme bien sûr.

je ne parle pas ici de la foi dans un sens nécessairement religieux, mais de la foi en tant que conviction inébranlable, chevillée au corps de celui qui la possède et qui ne doute pas une seule seconde de ses possibilités et du potentiel du monde qui s’offre à ses yeux.
si votre foi est réellement présente, si votre conviction est forte, votre chemin vers la réussite sera d’autant plus clair, et facile à distinguer et à emprunter.

if strength was based on size, majority of body builders would be giving the hulk competition but that's not the case!

'strength-to-mass-ratio' get familiar with this term. this simply means the force an individual can exert while performing a certain movement divided by the mass of their body.
(mass is the scientific term for weight)

gymnast may be some of the strongest people on the planet. they certainly do have a high percentage of lean muscle mass but they are not “huge”. strength training is one of the primary ways which one can increase their strength-to-mass ratio, however here's the catch! strength must increase by a greater percentage than your body weight.

"get real! how am i gonna figure that out?" gee i'm glad you asked! here's an example. take a 150lb person who can squat 200lbs, the squat s-m-r is 200/150 = 1.33. as you continued training you gain 5lbs and can now squat 220lbs. this means your s-m-r would've increased to 220/155=1.42.

this is where it gets slightly tricky. let's say now you experience the same strength increase and a weight increase to 170lbs. your s-m-r would have decreased to 1.29. if you're a bodybuilder this is not considered unusual considering your main goal is to increase muscle mass. ➖➖
if you're a calisthenics athlete and wish to increase your s-m-r try adding additional weight/resistance to the exercises you're already doing. isometric exercises are some of the best for increasing strength. an isometric is where the muscles create tension but no movement is being generated, you may know this by static exercises.
