Here is a small peek into one of the many processes here in our studio. we make plaster molds of our products and pour slip (liquid clay) into the plaster molds. they will eventually come out as leather hard ceramic mugs. after that, they move through the rest of the week long process.

It’s my last glazing session of the year! which means there’s plenty of satisfying drip videos coming your way 🤤 this glaze is completely untested, so i don’t even know how it’s going to come out! fingers crossed it’s pretty

Another quick slipcasting video- in this one, i’m layering a few different colors on top of each other and then rolling them to create a wave-like pattern. i’m using pinks, oranges and yellows to create a sunrise effect. enjoy! .

One last glazing video for the end of the year! this beaker looks pretty bland right now, but if the kiln gods treat me right this will turn into red drips on black clay 🤤 kiln gets unloaded on monday!

Here’s the rest of the highlights from this last firing! i’ve found a spot in the back of the kiln that makes a lovely gradient on my copper red glazes 🤤
