How to lose f*t by @musclemonsters

first, it’s important that we make the distinction between general weight loss and f*t loss. correct me if i’m wrong, but your goal isn’t to lose weight, but to burn body fat… am i right? if not, by all means, continue eating less and moving more. if, however, you want to lose f*t while maintaining muscle mass, then listen up.

1. caloric deficit: you, my friend, do not defy the laws of thermodynamics—particularly the first law… energy can be transformed from one form to another, but cannot be created nor destroyed. in other words, if you want to lose fat, you’ve got to consume less calories than you’re burning.
_
2. lift heavy: when we’re in a caloric deficit, we become more susceptible to muscle loss. unless we “prove” to our body that we need that additional muscle, we’ll have no reason to hang on to it—use it or lose it! now although we’ll only need a fraction of the volume to maintain muscle than we did to build it, it’s critical that we aim to keep intensity high. want to ensure you’re keeping your muscle during a cut? aim to maintain the strength you built to build it (muscle) in the first place.

3. h.i.i.t: being in a caloric deficit for a prolonged period of time can be extremely stressful on the body and the last thing you want to do is add more unwanted stress. this is why i recommend shorter bouts of high-intensity intervals (10-15 minutes) over long, drawn out cardio sessions.

bonus: you may be eating enough protein while you’re consuming a surplus of calories, but as your calories drop and your activity increases, protein intake must come up. this gets increasingly critical as you diet down—someone who’s 20% bodyfat and has been dieting for 6 weeks won’t need as much protein as the athlete who’s 10% and has been dieting twice as long.

После защиты, в прекрасном настроении мы с одногрупником решили возможно в последний раз, посетить зал нашего университета, где на помостах тренировались олимпийские чемпионы, чемпионы мира и легендарные атлеты💪🏆🎖️
А как же отметить, спросите вы;) а отмечать будем 25 мая после вручения диплома. Так что если в криминальных сводках вы услышите о крепких парнях устроивших дебош, знайте это не мы😂😂😂 Всем хорошего вечера🤗
