What’s up guys!!! as promised (to myself) i’m going to start sharing my workout videos with y’all! i’m always willing to help others succeed in their fitness journey. so i’ve decided to document mine in the hopes it can offer some ideas, proper form, and/or fitness tips for your next workout! 💥💥💥 • since i’ve started powerlifting, i noticed muscle definition in my legs and upper body, but sadly, a loss in muscle mass. which for me, is no bueno! gotta always lift for gains!! so this year, i’m incorporating more accessory exercises into my pl training to give it that bodybuilding twist. #powerbuilding baby! 💪🏼 i’ve started my training at 45% of my max’s and increased sets & reps (which btw has been kicking my ass!) to continue building strength and muscle mass! ✨ • here are a few basic exercises that target the glutes and hammies! 😃 **glute kickbacks 4x12 - personally, i like to keep my torso at an angle than horizontally and extend the cable out until i feel my glute tighten, holding it for 2-3 sec and bringing it back in slowly and controlled. i not only feel the burn in my glutes but my hamstrings too! **romanian deadlifts 3x12 - (i apologize for my form being a little off from laughing too much) same deal! stick the b***y out, back straight, knees slightly bent, and squeeze the peach at the top! **dont over bend the knees!! you want them close to straight to feel that sweet hamstring stretch! 🔥 • and there ya have it!! i’ll be posting more workout videos minus the long captions soon kk! happy humpday! 😋🍑💕
