It had been a while since i'd climbed a mountain for sunrise and i was very quickly reminded why i used to do it so often. it's never easy waking up at a ridiculous hour of the morning but this time of day is something special!

Tried shooting something other than the typical shots here at laurel hills. honestly makes me so angry that i missed the mad snowfall a few weeks back but oh well, life goes on.... for the record it’s been three years since it snowed like that there💀

for anyone wondering it was raining when we took these photos. the ground were damp and there were remnants of snow on the ground around trees. we had a fire extinguisher just for safety as well :)

One of the most important questions you can ask yourself is "how does this make me feel?”. it really is that simple. you can be in absolute paradise but if you're not feeling good, it doesn't mean anything (believe me, i've been there). i recommend choosing to do something every day that makes you feel good.
if exercising makes you feel good, then that’s the way you should start your day.

if reading a book with a glass of wine makes you feel good, then that’s what you should make time to do.

if going in the ocean makes you feel good, then try to do that as much as possible.

but it’s not just what you do. it’s who you surround yourself with and also what you surround yourself with. if your space - your office or house - is untidy, unclean, neglected, then being in that space won’t make you feel good and will contribute significantly towards feeling stressed.

what do you have on your walls? would an image of a beautiful white sand beach make you feel at ease, or even make you smile? or perhaps a calming image of the ocean...
