Slight variation of a bentover row using a hammer style grip. with rows, i find that people use too much arm and shoulder to be an effective back exercise. the primary movement should be with squeezing the lats together, bringing the arms along for the ride .

Not the most exciting video, but a great abdominal exercise. to keep the video short, i'm using a 4kg ball and doing a 30 second hold, but i like to try to do 4x 1 minute holds. i don't always make it, but that's my target .

“are you prepping for a competition?” i get this question frequently asked and my immediate answer is “no, i am just resting and enjoying life at this moment”, when the real answer is “actually yes! i am planning to step on stage on 2021!” my actual competition prep will start about 6 months prior to my show but then, will not be the time to make improvements. when i am referring to competition prep i mean 6 months of dieting in order to get shredded, so in this time, i will not be able to build the physique i need. the progress is made in the offseason when you eat in a surplus and your energy and your overall health are on their greatest spot. so yes, currently my body and mind are resting in terms of food intake, general stress etc, but my goal hasn’t changed. everyday i am in the process of building the physique i will bring on stage on 2021. and for all this time, i will do whatever is needed to be done in order to get full advantage of my potential.

The hanging leg raise is a great ab exercise but are you working your abs or your ego?

make sure that your reps are controlled without excessive swinging. the swinging creates momentum that will not actually work your abdominals.

if the hanging leg raise is too hard, start with the captain's chair then the hanging knee raise and finally the hanging leg raise.

gerade als natural bodybuilder sollte man darüber nachdenken z.b alle fünf wochen einen sogenannten deload einzubauen. nein durch einen deload seid ihr keine pussys! ihr hilft euren körper lediglich dabei auch langfristig fortschritte im training erzielen zu können.🙏🏻

aber was ist ein deload❓
in einer deloadweek trainiert man mit einer reduzierten intensität und einem reduzierten volumen. dadurch wird den muskeln, sehnen und bänder die möglichkeit eröffnet sich zu regenerieren und den angehäuften trainingsstress der vergangenen wochen zu kompensieren. des weiteren kann man in dem deload ,durch die geringere intensität, an seiner übungsausführung arbeiten um auch in zukunft den muskel besser zu treffen.👌🏼

aber woher weiß ich, wann eine deloadweek fällig ist❓
.
wer schon länger intensiv trainiert, weiß, dass man irgendwann ausgelaugt ist und sich nicht mehr steigern kann. womöglich fangen die gelenke auch noch an zu schmerzen und jeder muskelkater wird intensiver. eine deload week sollte deshalb gut geplant sein und schon vor eintritt dieser erschöpfungssymptome stattfinden!🙏🏻
