🏃🏽‍♀️this wkd i run less than i have planed because i felt to exhausted. and you know what i enjoyed my only race of the week-end cause i was relaxed and my body was rested. one important thing in sport is to get to know your body, i admit it’s important to have motivation and don’t find excuses, but you also need to know the border with excuses or real tiredness. runners tend to get so caught up in a routine that we will do anything to get our run in, even if it means stressing ourselves out to do it. if you know your body and you truly don’t need or want a day off during a training segment just keep these tips in mind and be flexible if you find that you are feeling a little bit run down or stressed about getting your run in. one rest day can give you a few more days running, especially if you are feeling run down or injury prone. so it is really important to listen to your body i’ve learned that a key to successful long-term training is learning how to read your body, it will allows you to avoid injuries, and also bad performances. so i know how hard is it sometimes to no train, but try to not be too intense sometimes in the training. i have to admit from me it is a bit ironic as a runner and with most things in life when i do something i go all in, 100%, and i don’t like to break my routine. i think that most runners feel the same way and would agree that taking a day off from running can sometimes feel like a punishment, but with time i learn more and more my body and to relax and skip some trainings sometimes. and then when i m back on track, taking a rest day also allows mu body to absorb the training i have been doing and then when i am back on track you may actually see a fitness boost following a day of rest. i am 100% more efficient. rest is part of a long process training but it is definitely an important part of it . 😴😴 👚👚@stronger ⚡️⚡️ #stronger #trailrunning #spordanegiydim #imoveme #adventure #womenrunning #outdoors #runlovers #getoutside #lifeofadventure #naturelovers #beautifulexplorers #outdoorwomen #getoutsideandplay #adventureinyou#brasilrunners#runngosports#runningaddict#runnershoutouts#correr#ランニング#lornajane#joggboxchallenge#paris

Don’t be afraid to add a little weight to your exercises. it is a misconception that men or women will get “bulky” from adding lbs to and exercise. i love mixing it up with all sorts of weighted equipment - kettle bells, medicine balls, and hand weights. don’t have one or think it’s too expensive to invest in? good thing there's black friday on all sorts of workout equipment. don't leave it in the closet! put it somewhere you will see it daily and use it. i keep mine in my car, so there's no excuse not to do mix in some strength work whenever i have a few minutes. this requires me to put my phone down and focus on my daily movement 👊🏻 . . . . . . . . . . . #mondaymovementmotivation #mondaymotivation #movedaily #strength #medicineball #fintess #kimkellyfit #getmoving #fitnessinspiration #healthyliving #blackfriday #lornajane #lululemon #nike #applewatch #advocare
