Trx plus box workout: now, as fun as this may look, the row is extremely heavy, the pushup very risky on the shoulders and the box jump dangerous on the knees and ankles. so all in all, a total disaster. however this is advanced trx people. if you're not 100% confident of these movements then please do not try! enjoy!

Just got back from a few days away with work... i didn’t go to the gym for a week, and i haven’t been eating very nutritious food to say the least. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
i get it, it’s hard to go back to your « healthy » routine... but the more pressure you put on yourself the more you will dread it, the harder it will be to get back to it!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
your first week back doesn’t have to be perfect. i set the alarm this morning and went to the gym. it was ten times harder than usual, i did a very short session but i did it anyway. and it will set me up for the rest of the week...

You don’t have to eat food you don’t like, and stop eating food you like to get fit/lose weight/be healthy. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
none of these 👆🏼will make you f*t and none of these will make you a wonder woman. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- my carbs used to be always brown even though i preferred their white version for some - my chocolate was always dark, even though i didn’t like it (ok it changed, but i - i used to drink protein shakes after each workout even though i had no clue what they were doing and even though i hated them - i thought bananas would make me f*t because they were high in sugar 🤦🏼‍♀️
- i used to eat brocoli because that’s what fit girls would eat. i hate them. (brocoli don’t have super power, and it’s ok to not like every single vegetable, it won’t make you a bad person promise)

after a year on this ‘diet’ i ended up leaner (because of the super low calories deficit not because of me cutting out food groups)... but with no energy, with no social life, and close to depression.
i didn’t have super power, my life dramatically change and not for the best, and i was not happier, quite the opposite. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
let’s stop thinking food have super powers. it’s your diet as a whole, your lifestyle as a whole, and your behaviour as a whole - and for life - that counts. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

i love how at @acroyogadance studio we have the ability not just to teach but to also creatively explore. so much has already happened and i can’t quite believe our luck of how we are meeting more and more creatives and artistic minds. i can’t wait for what the future holds

Control: not hugely exciting this one but can you control your core, arms and legs position throughout without dropping? what key with trx core is not panicking, once you do you're cooked. i went through three times and burst! if you can mimic it exactly i'll give you two free eq classes!
