Current body comp, not too shabby and feeling pretty good about it. am 5’8 200lbs and guessing about 13-15%bf somewhere in that ballpark. i don’t really track my food anymore, i just try to ensure i at least get my protein in daily. other than that, intuitively eating. as a dude who’s suffered from body dysmorphia for years(weird to say), this is just a much happier way to live and be fit for me. i spent a lot of years suffering and hating my body even when i was lean as shit. greatest success you can find in fitness is doing what works for you. a million different b******t schemes or diets you can try but at the end of the day, do what works for you. •

2014(143lbs)➡️2018(186lbs). years of dedication and persistence lead to this #transformation. started back in the day with lifting cinder blocks, body weight excercises, and cardio. progressing to a home gym/gym membership. you may not have money for a membership but that's no excuse. there are so many calisthenic exercises you can do without equipment(dm for a list). get out and improve yourself, even if it's just for a half hour a few times a week. i see too many patients with chf, about 1 out of every 9 deaths is due to heart failure! if not for you, do it for your loved ones.
yes that is a birthmark on my back, and yes i used to be insecure about it. i was going to have it removed until i spoke to my mom about it. apparently the mark was inherited from my italian ancestors and that a lot of my family had/has it in some form. what if it's our imperfections that make us unique? should we really be ashamed of something that makes us different? hell no. you don't have to love it, but own it👊🏼
