despite my great progress, i doubt myself everyday. the fallout of the last 3 years of ups and downs, starts and stops, making and breaking promises to myself. i am slowly rebuilding trust in myself and in my ability to commit and follow through.
i am taking a holistic approach.

💪🏻 choosing exercise i enjoy - tennis, pt with boxing, netball, @fitbodyapp (free trial in my bio @kdinspiredlife ).

🍎 no food restrictions but using a calorie budget (averaging 1600/day)

🌱 using natural solutions like essential oil products to support me to ensure better sleep, complete nutrition, regulated hormones, stronger metabolism, and good digestion.

🧠 using tools i learnt in therapy to deal with my life more proactively. managing my emotions without using food

Eating carbs🥖⁉️
the most frequent question i get asked from you: “do you eat carbs in every meal?” so i thought to make a dedicated post to dispel false myth. .
i love carbs. and with that i mean that i genuinely love carbs. a lot. and yes i do eat carbs in every single meal. carbs constitute the 50% of my diet. but it hasn’t been always like this. in the past i also was scared of carbs, i also thought that carbs were the enemy and that i had to eat as less carbs as possible to have a lean physique. you know what happened? my body was storing and retaining f*t because i was not feeding my body enough. the moment i understood carbs are my friend and my body needs them was the moment my body really started to change. i began to lose f*t while building muscle, which indeed resulted in a leaner physique. so, please please please inform yourself. don’t believe everything you hear, but try to learn from science. and mostly, listen to your body because it sends you signals. for example, if you always crave carbs maybe you are not eating enough of them?! don’t be scared of carbs. don’t be scared of properly fuel your body❤️

my fav source of carbs: whole-wheat pasta/ bread/ rice, quinoa, potatoes, barley (does pizza count?😜). for what concerns portions, i always make sure 1/4 of my plate is full of carbs. which is your fav source of carbs? do you love them as i do?🥰
