“you’re gunna need a headlamp to write your way out of this rabbit hole🕳!” — as @eginoire_photo editor @thegulchmagazine told me this i was already squeezing between the lines and crawling into the next dimly lit abyss🖤. the only way out is through...it’s not what you do, it’s what you live for. ✨#downtherabbithole #fuckyeahfriday #runningwildwithwords #playingslots #livewithoutwalls (nature has built plenty).

One of my favorite short hikes in utah and one that has unfortunately seen a rise in popularity over the last couple of years. my first visit to this canyon in 2016 had us pretty much alone for most of the hike. just a year later, and it would seem as if the pinterest gods had been working their magic to expose this place. it was hard to even find parking, and we waited ten minutes in line to go up this ladder. it’s always disappointing that places like this are being “found” more often because it’s really not the same experience as going with just a single friend. lately, i find myself scouting goggle earth looking for high alpine areas that haven’t been discovered yet to get away from the crowds. i enjoy the outdoors for the fact that i can get away from all the constant noise. what gets you outdoors? do you love the great views and company, or maybe you’re like me and you like the peace and quiet?
interested in purchasing this print, or learning how i process my images? you can find prints and private instruction information on my website, link in bio. ———————————————

I could use some cool water from the falls right about now.. i remember how cold the water in kawasan was when we went canyoning (canyoneering). but my hands were colder because of how scared i was to jump 😂⁣

i wouldn't jump if i had a choice, but i didn't want to fall behind. so i went first most of the time, otherwise, i'd be even more scared 😁⁣

just curious, have you ever gone canyoning or canyoneering?⁣

and what is the actual term? adding -ing to a noun makes it a verb, ie boat, boating. it denotes doing the noun. that said, canyoning is doing the canyon. canyoneering means doing the canyoneer which is still grammatically correct but gives a totally different meaning 😂😏⁣
