early meetings call for quick breakfast so today i had cashew and vainilla chia pudding which i prepared last night. just mix the chia seeds, @kin_nutrition vegan vainilla and the milk of your choice. i used @alpro cashew milk (which is great for this not so great for coffee). today i also added a spoon of flaxseeds and lots of cinnamon to the mix.

mix and leave overnight and top the next day with your fav goodies! i went for 1/2 banana, blueberries and pumpkin seeds.

that’s it! easy and ready to eat! plus this one will keep you super full!

What i do isn’t for everyone. heck, there’s probably some people waiting for me to fail. but guess what?! when you find something that you’re called to do and it brings true happiness to your life, who cares what the haters say! bless and release any and all negativity and do what makes you smile.

If you're the praying type, this sweet niece of mine could use some! .

she has #digeorgesyndrome and had a thymus transplant about a year and a half ago. however, she never started developing t cells. she and her sweet family are in isolation because she has no immune system. we are looking at another thymus transplant, but the list is quite long. .

I call this piece organized chaos with a side of i need to clean my laptop 😂

with the holidays right around the corner and tax season on its tail, staying on top of my schedule is crucial for my sanity. i have notebooks for everything, multiple planners, and google calendar on my phone. some people might see it as a bit much, but it’s the only thing that keeps me on track with everything from my workouts, meals, events, appointments, etc.

so i’ll be sitting down with torres and gibbs (ncis fans?), my liquid gold for some energy, my multi colored pens and my extensive to do list and checking things off one by one. are you and planner user/to do list maker or do you just do things on a whim?? #planneraddicts

How to lose weight without having to count calories? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
i hear it all the time, everywhere, people want to lose weight, i tell them they have to be in a calorie deficit and their answer is instant: naaa can’t be bothered to do that!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
and i get it, it takes a bit of effort at first... that’s why i thought i’d give you some tips that will help you be in a calorie deficit without having to count calories:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1. balance your meals - the plate rule: ✘ proteins: 1/4 your plate should be filled with food high in protein 🍗 🐟 🍤
✘ carbs: 1/4 of your plate should be filled with carbs you like 🥔 🍚 🍝 ✘ veggies: the rest of your plate should be filled with veggies you like 🥦 🍅 🥕
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2. eat less calorie dense food:
the famous rule of 80/20: 80% of what you eat should come from nutrient dense food such as veggies, fruits but also proteins (lean meat, fish, legumes...) & carbs (pasta, rice, sweet potatoes...). and 20% from less nutrient dense fruits such as *anything you like* (it doesn’t mean as much as you like though).

3. keep yourself full longer:
eat more nutrient dense food (again) - especially the one that contains higher fiber and higher proteins.

What i eat wednesday!

i wanted to share with you what i eat most of the days (well not many variations during the week at work) because a lot of people thinks that i am following some kind of restrictive shake diet!
.
it’s not a shake diet! i have been in the diet trap before and wouldn’t get back there!
i am a fan of eating your food but sometimes it is so much quicker and faster to make a shake!
.
who can agree with me?
we are all busy either moms, working professionals or just having a long day on the go!
.
and my shake it’s not only a powder and water. i normally have spinach, banana/berries, peanut butter powder, flaxseeds/acai powder, almond milk and water. it still gives me enough calories and nutrients to get me through my morning!
.
i eat carbs, even that i limit them due to my pcos. i try to eliminate gluten as it makes me so bloated and my pcos worse!
i do have some sweets 🍫 pizza 🍕 or a takeaway 🥡 .
if you don’t eat and constantly dieting you might notice low energy, mood swings, muscles ache and overall not very well feeling! (first one is today’s food, second is yesterday’s)

in my groups i share some meal plans and meals ideas to help others! because i care!
