• truth bomb - we all have insecurities • do you know what i thought when i took this progress photo today.... i thought, ‘gee i’m not looking that great at the moment’ - absolute truth. which then lead to ‘ i’ve been working out so hard lately, why do i still have this extra f*t on my thighs & these love handles’ . . i literally started picking out every flaw on my body. ๐Ÿ™ˆ some days i look in the mirror and am super happy with my progress & other day i could tell you 10 negative comments on my body without thinking twice!! . . but after having a little pity party, do know what i thought about ๐Ÿค”....my husband telling me this morning that my body is the best he’s ever seen it! wow, what a compliment! (which of course i didn’t take too much notice of - because he is always so supportive, sometimes i take it for granted!) . . which leads me to this.... this very important number 1 tip for anyone on your fitness journey, is to surround yourself with supportive people. whether it’s your partner, your family, your friends or this #bbgcommunity because sometimes when you doubt yourself you can’t always see through the clouds โ˜๏ธ - the positive support of others is so important!! and don’t forget to be that support for your friends, we all need that friend is our life!! ๐Ÿ‘ฏ

#repost @paperexploits (@get_repost) ใƒปใƒปใƒป #bbgweek25 arms is done! i.e. my first week of #bbg3 is over, resistance-wise ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ i took this workout slow as i haven't done an arm-heavy day in awhile. this workout had plenty of push-up variations, and i was really happy to see that my strength hadn't deteriorated too terribly, even aft pausing #bbg workouts due to the singapore and canada weddings! ๐Ÿ‘ฐ๐Ÿป anyway, some of you have asked how i'm finding bbg 3's 2x 14m circuits (vs #bbg1 and #bbg2's 4x 7m circuits). i'm actually finding that i'm a fan! ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿป i don't know how to articulate why yet, so let me do another week before i break it down ๐Ÿ˜… but i will say that i often find myself blasting thru the first 14m circuit cuz i'm "fresh", and then i'm deadbeat for the second 14m circuit ๐Ÿ˜‚ so i end up doing more laps of circuit 1 than i do circuit 2, if thay makes sense ๐Ÿ˜‰ i don't think it's a good or bad thing-- it's just different from the other @kayla_itsines/bbg versions i've done ๐Ÿ™‚ btw, thanks to a tip fr a, i now know the trick to keeping yr @spotify music going in the background, while your @sweat app is running (see prev post if you hv no idea what i'm talking abt)! sooo apparently the order in which you first open yr apps is impt-- for yr music to keep going, you have to open yr music app first, before you open the sweat app! if you do it in the reverse order, the sweat app takes precedence and your music won't play ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿป‍โ™€๏ธ it's dumb, and there's sorttt of some logic to it... but i tried it today and it works ๐Ÿ˜‚ p.s.: i received my singapore wedding pics today!! i apologise in advance if i'm insufferable in the next few weeks as i share those photos ๐Ÿ™ˆ but i'm really really in love with them cuz they bring back such amazing memories ๐Ÿ˜โค๏ธ everything @nike except socks: @asics @asicssg, shoes: @newbalance @newbalancesg, watch: @apple, mat: @movementfirst.sg

Spent this summer working on a ๐Ÿ‘ thanks to @kayla_itsines and the #bbg program! ๐Ÿ˜‰ like every other girl out there, i'm sure, i used to skip meals, limit my portions to literally a few bites, and wonder why my body was still so flabby, and why my moods were all over the place! sure i was "skinny" but i wasnt happy. i've attempted and failed the bbc program about 5 times before it finally stuck with me! now i'm working on week 18 and going stronger than ever! also now eating 3 solid meals a day, and endulging as often as i want to ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ•๐ŸŸ๐Ÿท the most important thing i've gained from this experience is how happy i've become. i'm not in it for a tone body anymore, that's just a plus now! i consider myself to be a bit high strung, very anxious like. but after a long hard day, i can't wait to get to the gym and get out all of my frustrations (and i never thought i'd say that). it's an instant amazing feeling! even more important, i love seeing other women who use the bbg go through some of the same struggles i do! feeling tired, unmotivated, craving junk food, but we still all go out there and get it done! im so glad i finally found my niche in this program and can't wait to start #bbg2 in a few weeks! ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ‘ #bbgprogress #bbgcommunity #kaylaitsines #sweatwithkayla #bbgstronger

•โœ–๏ธdon't be afraid to start over. it's a chance to build something better this time.โœ–๏ธ• ' ok so i've put on a lil bit of f*t this past month and my workouts and eating haven't been too great. after my holiday getting back to it was harder than i expected. it's kinda felt like everything has been working against me! i stopped crossfit this past month because it's just too far away for me to get to now it's getting colder (as a don't have a ๐Ÿš— right now). through the summer i didn't mind walking 50mins there and back because i was like yasss liss cardio, catch up youtube, fresh air.. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™Œ! since stopping it i haven't found my routine which works for me. if i go to the gym straight after work, the gyms are so busy- people almost queuing for machines - i can't even deal. then if i go home first (7pm), chill out (8-9pm), then if i actually mange to get my a*s up and back out the house again, my energy levels are ๐Ÿ’ฉ and i end up having a bad workout. the joys of working 9-6! so i've now realised that this after work business just ain't working for me now and figured mornings are my only option to strength train and i feel like i'm finally in the right head space to get myself up and out at 5:30am....so this morning i did just that! . i had such a good upper session that i couldn't do my amrap push-ups at the end because my arms were so shaky... when i failed the first one.. i manoeuvred into a stretching position, and pretended i came over to the mat area to do some dynamic stretching ... ๐Ÿ˜…smoooth operator! ' i fully believe to try and try again until you find the routine that works for you. to motivate me further this week i have have also bought the guide @strongerbysophie . starting a new guide is a great thing to do if you are looking for that bit of extra motivation! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™Œ ' hope you are all having a fab monday! xx

An off-center bathroom #postworkoutselfie ๐Ÿ™ƒ i’m home early for thanksgiving break and after working/flying all day wednesday and resting hardcore yesterday, i felt ready for a workout today ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝ i haven’t done an at-home workout in a long time, but was pleasantly surprised with how much you can do with a set of dumbbells and a jump rope ๐Ÿ˜… did 15 minutes of jump rope hiit following by a dumbbell arms/shoulders workout by @whitneyysimmons ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฝ looking to squeeze in a b***y or back workout tomorrow and maybe another hiit before we road trip to la!

Been on the struggle with the gym the past 2 weeks.. so much has been going on from elle getting hit by a car, getting ready to start a new job, finishing up my bs maybe that's been the reason my energy level hasn't been there - - but i have been still going 4-5 times a week & my sanity would probably be gone if it wasn't for the gym. i realized that in the past few months the gym has been so much more than just trying to reach a goal. i have literally cried, laughed, smiled, and probably cursed a few times during my workouts. - so what's the motivation to keep a gym routine? well, i'd rather go workout then be so sick with anxiety that i can't get out of bed ๐Ÿค˜ #fitforme #fitnessgirls #fitforlife #bbgstronger #bbg1.0 #bbg2.0 #bbgcommunity #dreamplanachieve @gymsharkwomen
