Landed on mars 😎🤙
When i get old and look back on the things i did and the places i went, the thing i will value the most is the people i met and relationships i built. it’s that connection with people that defines the power of travel- the chance to change the world, to bring cultures together and to share experiences that you wouldn’t have if you only stayed at home. last week i finally met one of my favourite creators @emmett_sparling who took this amazing shot as he traveled through peru. we shot, had dinner together and spoke about our families, how we got started and our goals for the future. that is what travel is all about for me and if @instagram has done anything meaningful for me in life, it’s provided a way to meet amazing people around the world with a similar passion for exploring & making a difference 😎🤙🌎
A bath on the banks of the mighty zambezi river, a stones throw from victoria falls, with nothing but the sound of hippos in the water around your lodge to keep you company 😊 this is how @tomjauncey and i ended a very special day with our friend tina who runs the beautiful @royalchundu earlier in the day we’d flown over the falls for the first time, seen our drone go awol and dive into the zambezi and had an unreal zambian dinner talking about how welcoming the local people were and how tourism was supporting the lives of those living on the banks of the zambezi 🤙
Touch down in abu dhabi in time to catch the sun setting over one of the most beautiful buildings in the world 🇦🇪 it’s the start of a very special weekend with @visitabudhabi celebrating the tenth anniversary of the #abudhabigp i have been lucky enough to visit abu dhabi many times, to experience its untold stories and build friendships that have stretched around the world. as so much continues to happen in this city i cannot wait to share more of it with you and i hope, inspire you to come and see it for yourself 😎🤙 (📷: @storyofsage )
This is the royal portuguese gallery of reading in rio de janeiro brazil 🇧🇷 it is known as one of the most beautiful libraries in the world, founded in 1837 by portuguese immigrants & political refugees, to promote culture among the portuguese community abroad. my mum always encouraged me to read and since i was little i’ve loved finding books, recognised their power to promote learning, understanding of people and as a way to better yourself. as digital technology dominates my life & business, i find so much happiness in switching off and reading books that any recommendations i’ll jump on :) at the moment i’m reading american kingpin by nick bilton and principles by ray dalio and thinking of sharing a regular reading list for what has helped me in travelling, life & business- would anyone be interested? if so i’ll start sharing on my stories! 👍 (amazing 📷: @elensham )
Autumns last sunset in nyc as the cold settles in and i leave the city for the end of year adventures 😉🇺🇸 heading into thanksgiving week there is a lot to be thankful for, a few more partnerships to be finalised and trips to be done- next stops abu dhabi, london, stockholm, berlin, geneva, edinburgh. if anyone is around (especially in london) i’d love to hear from you!
Bd bucketlist #1268: old harry rocks, dorset, england 🏴 the most easterly part of the uk’s jurassic coast and a unesco world heritage site that boasts some of the world’s finest chalk formations. so often england is thought of as london and the rolling countryside but the coastlines of this great island are just as impressive to visit 😉 (📷: @uwo )
All my thoughts with the jordanian people who live & work around petra & any tourists who were visiting, after the weekends flash floods. there is nothing in the world that can prepare you for the view of the treasury, in the lost city and i sincerely hope it gets back to being safe as soon as possible. the trip that @natalialalonde and i did this summer was one of the best i’ve ever done, exploring places i’ve imagined since i was a child and meeting a culture rich in history and celebrating its past but looking to the future with hope & optimism 😎 this is a slightly different view to the one i posted when i was there so i hope you like it and it inspires you to visit this amazing landmark once it has been deemed safe again 🙏🏼
Glacier national park in montana’s rocky mountains is one of the most stunning areas of natural beauty in the us 🇺🇸 it’s an area i’ve long wanted to visit and this amazing moment caught by @stephenshelesky reminded me exactly why :) a lot of my time in the us has been in the cities that define this amazing country, the urban environments i’ve been able to call home but thinking about my travel plans next year and some very exciting developments we have with @visittheusa i really cannot wait to get out & explore the country’s national parks 😎 if you’ve been or have any to recommend i’d love to hear from you!
Back to the city that never sleeps and a view that blew me away the moment i saw it 🇺🇸 i’ve been working in nyc for over ten years and still discover something new every day i walk around this beautiful place. the diversity of people, cultures, languages, food, art, music is the definition of a modern, vibrant city where people from all walks of life can come together be accepted & make a success of themselves. i’m very proud to have been asked to be an official voice of new york city thanks to my friends @nycgo @nycgo _press so please come & visit all 5 boroughs of this amazing city 😎🤙 (📷: @lensaloft great work andrew!)
