Arrivederci roma ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น! what an unforgettable trip italy has been! a huge thank you to all the amazing people i met, the whole family @brunellocucinelli_brand, @alessandropilot @panerai the warm & kind people of cinque terre and above all @davideor94. davide messaged me when he saw i was in italy and we spent a few hours one morning walking around his favourite parts of rome- he explained the history of the city, showed me the hidden places to shoot and shared his ideas on life and his ambitions for the future. that is what travel is all about :) meeting new people, learning their culture and having experiences that bring us closer together. davide took this shot (with a little help from @jacob ) and is travelling around europe talking about sustainable tourism as he creates content. lastly a huge thank you to everyone that got in touch with recommendations for italy, i’m very grateful and cannot wait to come back!

Sometimes all you need is an iphone and a bit of luck to capture a memory that will stay with you forever ๐Ÿ˜Š this is the view from nessun dorma, a beautiful little restaurant high on the hills above manarola in cinque terre. i had lunch with its owner simone, an entrepreneur who at 24 had a vision to turn what was back then a wasteland, into a beautiful cliff top restaurant. the government offered the land in a competition to locals who pitched their idea for what they would create, guess how many people applied? three!! only three people had the vision to see what this could become and so simone won, brought his dream to life and now employs local people, serves local food and is a successful tourism entrepreneur. amazing ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น

Ciao amici! touched down in manarola, cinque terre long enough to do the famous cliff dive, take a sail boat along the coast and eat fresh fish from this mornings catch ๐ŸŸ ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น i have always had a special love for the people of italy, their impact on art, culture, philosophy, fashion and food is something that has influenced me since i was a child and like most people on instagram, seeing the multi coloured houses of the cinque terre towns has been on my bucket list for years. please make the trip out here, cinque terre is a protected national park with 12km of beautiful coastline and only 500 people living in manarola & tourism generates income that allows them to preserve their traditions and share their heritage ๐Ÿ‘ (and all jokes aside i am petrified of heights!)

Bd bucketlist #1266: bora bora, french polynesia ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ซ without doubt one of my favourite places in the world, home to spectacular white beaches and turquoise blue waters for as far as the eye can see. do any of you remember my shark encounters here with @tomjauncey? definitely one of my favourite travel memories and a reminder to always respect nature, protect our environment and look after our oceans. this shot by the awesome @karl_shakur is better than anything we got on that trip and i hope inspires you to go and visit for yourself ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿค™๐ŸŒด

This little guy is the most recognisable symbol of species conservation around the world and meeting him in person is one of the most amazing things i’ve ever done. i’m so proud and honoured to be an ambassador for @world_wildlife @wwf and to be able to use our platforms to push the message that we can make a difference to our environment if we change the way we think and the way we act. wild panda numbers have increased since the 1980s through dedicated programs and the work of people who believed they could have an impact. it’s a complex discussion but we can do the same for the environment & other species that are at risk if we all put our minds to it ๐Ÿผ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ‘

5 hours up a mountain in the middle of hochkönig, austria searching for a place to workout and enjoy the sun ๐Ÿ˜‰ if you’re looking for a place to visit this summer and you are in europe, i’d highly recommend austria ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡น vienna is one of the most beautiful, culturally rich cities in the world and a few hours drive into the country you can climb mountains like this in the summer and ski down them in the winter :) (๐Ÿ“ท: @natalialalonde )

It’s sunrise over christ the redeemer and of course @tomjauncey is hanging out of a helicopter ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ท we have had so many adventures around the world together- swimming with sharks in french polynesia, losing our drones in macau or zimbabwe and flying in open doored helicopters over some of the world’s most iconic landmarks. there is nothing more important than family and it’s moments like these that make me stop and think how lucky i am, to have the opportunity to push him out (๐Ÿ”ˆ: “magalenha” @gregorsalto )

Bd bucketlist #1264: scaligero castle, sirmione ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น have you ever seen a castle built over a lake, that guards the only bridge into a town, that is hundreds of years old and still looks like it’s fresh off a movie set? this is it and those lucky enough to climb it (or drone it!) will find spectacular views of sirmione’s harbour and rooftops- so add it to your bucket list ๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿค™ (๐Ÿ“ท: @michaelpezzaioli )

Sunset in petra on our last night in jordan @natalialalonde ๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ด๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ™ thousands of candles lay out waiting for the light to disappear and the evening tourists to arrive, whilst local dogs ran around the front of the treasury waiting for some attention. thank you to everyone who contacted me about visiting jordan- yes the country, the people, the food, the culture and the experiences are amazing, yes it was safe and yes, there is so much more than just petra :) we spent time in amman, wadi rum, wadi mujib, the dead sea, bethany, dana nature reserve and aqaba and saw only a fraction of what this amazing country has to offer. we spent time with local people, cooking in their homes, learning their culture & history, visiting ancient ruins & mosques, going diving from their fishing boats and at every moment, in every place, felt the warmth & kindness of jordanians who wanted to share their country with us & the world. this is what travel is all about- getting out into the world, connecting with people and being positive about different cultures :) (๐Ÿ“ท: @jakebaine )
