“the girl held the moon in her hands and the stars in her heart, attempting to cage them, until she realized that they were really pieces of her, a wildness that can never be tamed, so she let them go.” @alexandriaslens shares a snippet of a short story she wrote for her daughter πŸ‘©πŸ‘§

Creating an image that’s greater than the sum of its parts, @danorst helps us wrap up our #createyourstory theme with a bang. ⁣
"originally i made the first time slice as a way to share my timelapses as a still image. over time, the series has evolved. this one is built of 159 time slice images each made of 50 photos from a sequence of 420 images taken over 2 hours 13 minutes. i chose to shoot this from koloon because it's spectacular view of downtown hong kong." - @danorst

After an inspiring conversation, adobe creative resident @temi.coker created this beautiful representation of activist @iamderay and what he stands for. ⁣⁣⁣
“deray mckesson is an activist for justice, especially when it comes to people of color. i got to talk with him about the book he was working on (on the other side of freedom) and left inspired to create something. african americans have been fighting for justice and peace for a very long time and i wanted to use my voice (photography and design) to speak up and somehow visualize that message. i wanted to do it in a way that would make people stop and stare because there are a few symbolisms in this piece that some might overlook.” – @temi.coker ⁣⁣⁣

When two minds come together, the sky is no longer the limit πŸ’« @drcuerda and @anniset share how they work together as a storyteller duoπŸ‘‡β£ ⁣
"our work can only be understood because there's two in the team. while anna is the creative mind, coming up with fun and original concepts; i'm the one focusing on the technical aspect: the composition, the settings on the camera, the workflow of the editing phase, etc. we definitely learn a lot from each other while working in these images! since we've started working together i feel like i'm a much more imaginative person than before, and anna is a lot more comfortable using photoshop or handling the camera as well!" - @drcuerda

Running into the weekend like… πŸƒ‍♂️⁣
"i collaborated with a talented pro freerunner @joel_eggimann to pull off an idea i’ve been envisioning for a while now. before starting, we planned a series of motions for joel to perform while i flew overhead. by keeping a centered and forward moving path, the video loops and becomes mesmerizing to the eyes. this has become the goal for me as a visual artist!" - @asenseofhuber

Photographer @alenpalander reminds us to pause, reflect and find beauty in the ordinary ✌️.⁣⁣
"it's easy to fit in, but how do you stand out? for me it's seeking the extraordinary in the ordinary that propels my perspective and represents something much bigger." - @alenpalander

Traveling around the world in search of his happy place, @adrianredcom stumbled upon this beautiful remote island in eastern thailand 🌴.
“don't like winter or gray weather? move somewhere warm and sunny all year long. not happy with your 9-5 office job? go freelance, travel the world and do your own thing. as creatives, we can make it work anywhere. so sail away from the safe harbor, explore, capture and share your journey." – @adrianredcom
