Oooohhh girl, it was b***y day, and as not nice as this gym was-still got in a semi decent lift😂 literally despise when gyms won't put on the ac when it's humid af out and it's 75 degrees in there-like y'all want to have to call an ambulance orrr🤦🏽‍♀️ plus there were no towels at this location so i had to use about 50 paper towels to dry my hair and body since i had to take a shower😭okay enough complaining tho, here's two little sections from my circuit i did today! and yes these @tilyoucollapse leggings look like the lululemon align pant and are thuper cute😍 code "faith" saves you money on them! ▫️ 1. split squats into step ups- 5x10 (each) ✨ twist slowly into second position to do the step ups and keep core tight with both. with step ups, push through your heel and do not push off foot that's on the ground 2. single leg standups into squat pulse jumps- 5x10 (each leg and jumps) ✨ always forget about these bad boys (standups) way harder than they look, and once again, push through heel! did squat jumps with the bench to just control the squat pulses and obviously used my @mbslingshot band to focus on pushing my knees out👈🏽👉🏽 ▫️ leggings: @tilyoucollapse top: @victoriasport shoes: @newbalance song: "do re mi"- @iamblackbear 🎧 #workoutvideo #bpisports

I'm gonna open up a little on the reason i developed a passion for fitness and health 👊🏼 - growing up i was very skinny and i was self-conscious about it. i had hockey to keep me busy but it was always something that floated around in the back of my head. my insecurities and low confidence were holding me back from reaching my full potential. i was constantly preoccupied because i would compare myself to people who had the physique or the mindset i wanted. it really weighed on me. i was only comfortable being my true self in front of my family and wouldn't dare show who i was to strangers. i wasn't necessarily depressed but i wasn't happy with myself, not until now am i able to look back and analyze why i felt like this. the most frustrating part was that i was lifting regularly and eating how i thought was the best to build my physique. after high school i ended up quitting hockey. i entered college with the same state of mind but now a void in my heart from leaving a sport i dedicated so much of my life to. i kind of looked at college as a new beginning and put to use all of the extra time and freedom i had. from a combination of trial and error, learning from others, and researching i was able to put on 30 pounds my first year in college. i went from 155 lbs to 185. since then i have educated myself even more and now sit around 175 pounds and 8% body f*t year-round. my entire mindset has evolved and i feel like i'm in a place where i can be myself and work towards my goals without being held back by my own insecurities. if you or someone you know can relate to this please don't hesitate to reach out to me over direct message or tag them! 😁✌🏼 🎵no smoke - youngboy🎵 🎵do the most - dizzy wright🎵 🎵distance - lil durk 🎵
