Safe to say i've made some gains: physical and mental. #strengthfeed changing my mindset was hard: understanding that eating more can help you achieve your goals can be confusing. especially through seeing your weight on the scales changing. this is 3 years difference, and 15-20 pounds difference (i'm heavier nowπŸ™ŒπŸΌπŸ’ͺ🏼) #healthbuilding β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β € πŸ‘ˆπŸΌon the left i was lost: i was terrified of food, i was weak, and my anxiety was controlling my life. i had panic disorder. i was a cardio bunny and only saw exercise as a way to burn calories, and i was massively under eating (and then binge eating on 'clean'* foods). if you are struggling with an eating disorder please seek expert help: trust me, you will not regret it. πŸ™πŸΌ please realise that eating 300 calories per day is not healthy and is highly disordered eating: it is not good/healthy and it is very dangerous. *there is no such thing as a 'clean' food. sure, some foods are more micronutrient dense than others, but eating foods which aren't micronutrient dense is okay! everything. in. moderation. πŸ™ŒπŸΌ β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β € πŸ‘‡πŸΌ2️⃣0️⃣1️⃣7οΈβƒ£πŸ‘‡πŸΌ πŸ‘‰πŸΌnow: i have educated myself and learned so much. i weight train 4 or 5 times per week and eat over 6x the amount i was eating on the left! i do hiit once or twice per week if i feel like it, but if i don't then i don't stress about it! it's all about what works for you and your lifestyle! remember: your goals have to fit in with your lifestyle/job/uni/etc. my lifestyle means i travel a lot: on the left, this would stress me out massively. i was so obsessive over eating my foods and training in an exact way, but learning how to adapt is so, so important for long term success! πŸ‘‰πŸΌthe ultimate guide to tracking macros & the #strengthfeedguide will help you with this - you can get it at www.strengthfeed.com β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β € β €β €β €β €β €β €β €through constantly learning, my mind has been opened. and i hope i can help some of you achieve the same. πŸ™πŸΌ seeing that there's almost 100,000 posts under #strengthfeed is so exciting - make sure you're subscribed to my email list for big news - the link to do so is in my bio -

❇️consistency❇️ - first off please like this post if consistency is something you have a hard time with πŸ™‹πŸ»‍♂️ when it comes to training and diet, consistency and patience are easily at the top of the list as to why people fail to meet their expectations. it’s a frustrating thing i’ll admit! you work so hard for weeks to build a steady routine and all it takes is a few bad days in a row to completely fall off track and lose momentum. the thing i try and remember is that every day is another opportunity to start all over. you can either s**k it up, admit your mistakes, and try to fix them or you can keep living in the groundhogs day universe where you just keep saying “i’ll get back on track tomorrow”. there’s only so many excuses that can be made before you simply have to come to realization that it’s you that is failing you. once you can accept that, the next question is “what are you going to do in order to succeed?” oh and to explain the pics, the top left is where i want to be at again and the right side is where i’m at currently. baby steps! check out www.fitfreakproject.com to sign up for our customized science based programs! #fit #fitness #fitfam #fitnessmotivation #fitnessjourney #diet #health #iifym

Hi hi hi fit friends. today i want to talk about a topic that’s been on my mind a lot lately: balance πŸ™ŒπŸ½ how do each of you find balance between work life, student life, fitness life, or whatever it may be that fills up a lot of your time? sometimes finding that happy medium can be a lot easier said than done~ prior to this semester, fitness was my #1 priority over everything else. my grades, social experiences, and relationships suffered because i was not willing to take that time away from the gym or to take any of the control away from my own nutrition. i missed out on endless opportunities and memories because my progress came before my own happiness, and looking back on it hurts my heart~ was i shredded and in shape at that point? yes, and i’d be lying if i said i didn’t miss that physique sometimes. but i was never happy there because i was so scared of losing control, so in the end it just wasn’t worth it~ now, i intuitively eat, try to get in the gym 4-5 days p/ week if i can, and always put my friends and family first. i am comfortable in my skin for the first time in forever, and d**n guys does it feel good πŸ™πŸ½ -------------------- #instafood #food #iifym #iifymacros #iifymacrosgirls #macros #flexibledieting #girlswholift #lift #lifter #lifting #bodybuilding #powerlifting #diet #muscle #fitness #workout #gym #exercise #fitspo #fit #fitfam #eatforabs #eattogrow #protein #healthy #cleaneating #progress #transformation .
